Meditation with Sarah and Isabelle

Guided sittings for people who have never had time to sit still.

The practice

Meditation here is unhurried and plain. No incense required, no lotus position, no belief system to sign up for. You sit, you follow one of our voices, you notice what your attention is doing, and you come back. That is the whole of it.

Most people who sit with us arrive tired rather than curious — carrying a full inbox, a restless mind, a body that has been braced for months. Ten quiet minutes will not fix any of that. But done often enough, they change how the rest of the day feels.

Who we are

Sarah

Sarah

Guided sittings & breath

Sarah came to meditation the way most people do — not out of curiosity but out of necessity, during a stretch of life that asked more of her than she had. She records the morning and evening sessions, and is training in somatic and trauma-informed practice.

Body scan & silent sitting

Isabelle records the body scans and the longer silent sittings. She is drawn to the plainest forms of the practice: no music, no instruction beyond what is needed, and a bell at either end.

This may be for you

  • You have tried meditation apps and stopped after a week.
  • You fall asleep exhausted but not rested.
  • You would like a quieter relationship with your own thoughts.
  • You want to begin, and you would rather begin with two people than a streak counter.

What we sit with

Morning breath
Ten minutes to start the day slowly, before anything asks anything of you.
Body scan
A long, careful pass from head to feet. Useful when the mind is loud and the body is quietly holding everything.
Sitting in silence
Twenty-five minutes with a bell at each end and nothing in between. For anyone ready to be left alone with their own attention.
Evening wind-down
A softer, slower session for the hour before sleep, when the day is still replaying itself.

Coming soon

Private meditation circles

Small groups meeting live, rather than listening alone. Eight people, six weeks, the same faces each time — the difference between practising by yourself and practising alongside others who show up too.

Format
Six weekly sessions on Zoom, sixty minutes each.
Size
Eight people, so there is room for everyone who wants to speak.
Shape of a session
A short arrival, a guided sitting, and time afterwards to say what came up — or to say nothing at all.
Who it is for
Anyone who has been sitting alone and would like company, and anyone who has never managed to start.

Dates are being set now. If you would like to hear when the first circle opens, write to us and we will let you know before it goes out anywhere else.

Stillness is not something you achieve. It is something you stop interrupting.
